This Intellectual Property Policy explains what belongs to Tumbler Lane on tumblerlane.com, how others may and may not use it, how we treat other people’s trademarks and designs, and how to report a concern. Copyright complaints follow the dedicated process on our DMCA page; everything else, including trademarks, brand names, design rights, patents and look-alike concerns, is handled here.
The short version
- Ours: the Tumbler Lane name, logo and tumbler-with-lane-line mark, our page text, layouts and original images.
- Theirs: other brands’ names and logos belong to their owners. We do not use them on our products or in our product names, and we do not claim any connection with them.
- Reporting: email support@tumblerlane.com with the subject “IP concern” and the details listed in section 6.
- Response: acknowledgement within 1 business day; listings removed or edited promptly where a concern is well founded.
1. What belongs to Tumbler Lane
The following are owned by Tumbler Lane or used by us with permission:
- the name “Tumbler Lane” and the domain tumblerlane.com;
- our logo and icon: a handle tumbler silhouette with a dashed lane line through its centre, and the wordmark “TUMBLER LANE” with its yellow lane-line underline;
- the text on our pages, including product descriptions, category guides, our size and fit guide, and these policies;
- the page designs and layouts we have created, and any original photographs and graphics we publish.
Our brand name and logo are used by us to identify our store. Registration status of any mark is not claimed on this page; our rights arise from our use of the name and logo in commerce and from copyright in our original material.
2. How you may use our content
You are welcome to:
- link to any page on tumblerlane.com from your website, blog or social media;
- share a product page with a friend or post it in a group chat;
- quote a short passage of our text with a link back, for example in a review of our products;
- print or save pages for your own records, such as your order details or our return policy.
Without our written permission, please do not:
- copy our product descriptions, guides or policies onto another store or marketplace listing;
- use our photographs to sell products, including identical products bought elsewhere;
- use our name or logo in a way that suggests you are us, work with us or are endorsed by us, including in domain names, social media handles or advertising keywords;
- create a website, app or account that imitates the look of our store.
To ask for permission, email us and describe what you would like to use and where.
2.1 Reviewers, bloggers and creators
If you are writing about a Tumbler Lane product, for example a cup-holder fit test or a comparison of lid styles, you may use our name to identify us and include a link to the product page. Please use your own photos of the product rather than ours, and make clear that your opinions are your own. If you would like to use our logo, a product photo or a longer quote, ask us first and tell us where it will appear; we usually say yes. We do not pay for reviews, and we will never ask you to leave out criticism. If you received a product from us for free, please say so in your post, as advertising rules in many countries require.
3. Other brands and trademarks
The insulated drinkware market includes many well-known brands. We sell our own range under the Tumbler Lane name. We do not:
- use other companies’ brand names or logos in our product names, images or product designs;
- describe our products as genuine, official or licensed versions of another brand’s products;
- sell counterfeit or replica goods;
- use other brands’ trademarks to attract searches in a misleading way.
Where we need to mention another product to help you, for example to say that a replacement lid is or is not designed for a particular cup, we do so in a plain, descriptive way and only where we have checked the fit. Such references identify compatibility only and do not mean that the other brand makes, sponsors or endorses our product. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
3.1 Compatibility wording, with examples
Accessories like replacement lids, straws and silicone boots are where brand names come up most, because customers want to know whether a part fits a cup they already own. These examples show where we draw the line:

3.2 Teams, characters and licensed designs
We do not sell drinkware decorated with sports team logos, college marks, film or cartoon characters, or other licensed artwork. Our range uses plain colours and our own simple graphics. If you see a product on our site that you believe uses licensed artwork without permission, please report it and we will remove it while we review it.
4. Product shapes and designs
Many insulated tumblers share common features, such as a side handle, a straw lid, a tapered base that fits a cup holder or a powder-coated finish. These features are widespread across the industry. If you believe that a specific product we sell copies a protected design, a registered design, a design patent or another right that belongs to you, please tell us using the process below. We take these concerns seriously and will review the product, our supplier’s information and your evidence.
5. Images, text and content from customers
If product reviews are enabled, customers may submit text and, where the feature is offered, photos. We ask customers to share only content they created themselves. If you find your content in a review without permission, you can report it here or through our DMCA process, and we will remove it.
5.1 Your own photos of our products
Photos you take of a Tumbler Lane cup or bottle belong to you. If you share one with us, for example with a support request or a review, we will only use it for that purpose. We will not repost a customer’s photo on our pages or social media without asking first and crediting you the way you prefer.
6. How to report an intellectual property concern
Email support@tumblerlane.com with the subject “IP concern”, or write to Tumbler Lane, 4555 Mansell Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30022, US. Please include:
- your name, organisation (if any), postal address, email address and telephone number;
- a description of the right you believe is affected, such as a trademark, registered design or patent, with registration numbers and countries where applicable;
- the URL of each page on tumblerlane.com that concerns you, and what on that page you believe infringes your right;
- any evidence that helps us understand the concern, such as images of your product or registration certificates;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your report is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them, and your signature (a typed full name is fine).
7. What happens next

If we disagree with a report, we explain our reasons. We may ask for more evidence, for example proof of a registration in the country concerned. Where appropriate, we may share your report with our supplier so that they can respond.
8. What we ask of our suppliers
We ask the companies that make our drinkware to confirm that the products and any images or text they supply do not infringe anyone else’s rights, and to tell us if they receive a complaint about a product we sell. When a supplier cannot give that confirmation for a product, we do not list it. If an issue comes to light later, we act on it as described above without waiting for the supplier.
9. If you are a customer who bought an affected product
If we remove a product from sale because of an intellectual property concern, orders that have not shipped are cancelled and refunded in full within 7 days. If you already received the product, you can return it within 60 days of delivery under our normal Returns & Exchanges Policy, with return postage on us.
10. Look-alike stores and impersonation
We only sell through tumblerlane.com. If you see a website, marketplace listing, social media account or advertisement that uses our name or logo and you are not sure it is us, check the address bar: our store is always at https://tumblerlane.com. We will never ask you to pay by bank transfer, gift card or cryptocurrency, and we will never contact you from an email address that does not end in tumblerlane.com. If you think you have found an impersonator, please tell us so we can report it and warn other customers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our range grows or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
